About
I am fascinated by fire, math, and computational science. I love most to read, write, and teach.
This is my blog. I first made it public for my trip to Gaithersburg, Maryland at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2007 for a summer fellowship. It continues on with my studies, life, and passions in everyday explorations.
I am a 23 year old fire protection engineering student with a progressive mind for development, science, learning, and new experiences.
I will be moving to Worcester, Massachusetts on August 13th to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute for graduate studies in fire protection engineering. Excited! I want to teach and profess fire. I want to travel and experience life in this new era of Couchsurfing. I want to learn, share, and fully participate in this new informational era of community-driven organization and discovery.
My subject of choice aside, I love what I do in life without fear. I want to pass that along to others.
In this blog I try to communicate out the ideas and life-grabbing concepts that I come across during my journey.
You can reach me by email at koverholt@gmail.com. Otherwise, explore my blog to the ends.
